The conference attracted 97 participants from 20 countries and all inhabited continents. A Special Issue of Discrete Mathematics containing selected papers together with research problems presented at the conference is 307/11-12 (2007).

In addition, there were 74 contributed talks (running in two parallel sessions) and three open problems sessions.

The Fourth Cracow Conference on Graph Theory "Czorsztyn 2002" was held in the old-time Tourist Village Czorsztyn. The Tourist Village is a beautiful, peaceful complex of historic wooden villas from the 19th century, located in Kluszkowce village near Nowy Targ, a hundred kilometres south of Cracow. It is situated by Czorsztyn Lake on the Dunajec river in the marvelous surroundings of the Pieniny Mountains.
